Care instructions:
- Dahlia should be fertilized with low or no nitrogen fertilizer.
- Water Dahlia everyday during summer as its soil should remain moist.
- Regularly deadhead spent flowers.
- Cut Dahlia stems from middle to promote good air circulation.
- Due to several issues, I recommend growing them in containers than on ground.
Verbena and dahlias are perennials if well taken care of in winter. They are sold as annuals in nurseries.
- Don't forget to water when they are dormant in winter. Once a month is usually enough.
- No fertilizer during dormancy.
- During snowfall, it's best to place the container under shade
